The
Einsatzgruppen Special Units are re-formed and trained in Saxony in preparation
for the impending invasion of the Soviet Union. Their task will be to eliminate
enemies of Germany by shooting communists and partisans.
Their main victims however, will be over 1 million unarmed Jewish men, women
and children. An unknown number of Gypsies, but certainly tens of thousands,
will also be killed in this campaign of murder.
