Hindenburg, President
A brilliant general during the First World War, Field Marshal Hindenburg directed German strategy with Ludendorff. In 1925, he became the second and last president of the Weimar Republic. He reluctantly appointed Hitler as the German Chancellor in 1933. He died the following year.
