Uprising at Treblinka


Uprising at Treblinka death camp by inmates. They broke into the armoury with a copied key, took weapons and set fire to the buildings, killing several SS in the process. Most prisoners were killed trying to escape as they were fired on from all sides. Of the 750 prisoners trying to escape, around 70 survived until the end of the war.
